Taxis are readily available at Tenerife South Airport, and the ride to Costa Adeje takes approximately 20 – 25 minutes and costs between 30 – 40 euros. While taxis may be a bit pricier, the convenience and comfort they offer make them a popular choice, especially for those with luggage in tow. Several shuttle services operate at the airport, providing shared rides to popular destinations like Costa Adeje. This cost-effective option allows you to share the journey with fellow travellers, making it a sociable and budget-friendly choice, between 10-15 euros. For a 5* airport shuttle service that cannot be beaten for price and efficiency we recommend Suntransfers, they are ABTA bonded and have excellent UK TrustPilot reviews.

For the freedom to explore Tenerife at your own pace, renting a car is an excellent option. Although most of the rental agencies are conveniently located at the airport some will deliver the car to your Hotel if you prefer, we recommend autoreisen, cicar and sanasty because they have a no deposit policy which we like! The drive to Costa Adeje is quite straightforward along the main TF1 (South) and the cars cost between 20 -30 euros per day to hire. Ensure you’re familiar with local traffic rules and have a valid driver’s license before hitting the road.  If you are looking to find the cheapest available car hire whilst you’re in Tenerife we have teamed up with Discover Cars to compare rental prices, we always use them to find the best prices.
