Situated on the southern coastline of Turkey, Antalya experiences a Mediterranean climate in the limited coastline region north of Syria. The weather is comparatively hotter than the west coast and the Black Sea coast. The winters are mild with an average high temperature of 15°C (59°F). Conversely, summers are quite hot with maximum temperatures ranging between 30 and 35°C (86 and 95°F). Rainfall is concentrated between mid-October and mid-April, during which it can be abundant and sometimes even torrential, notably on the slopes facing west and southwest.
